FYI

The "Michigan Terminal System Archive" is one of 810 web sites that are archived in the University of Michigan Web Archives. It goes by the name of "Michigan Terminal System Wiki" in the Archives. The captures seem to be done about once a year in November, but are embargoed for six months after capture and so are not immediately available for use.

In addition to the MTS Archive, the U-M Web Archive captures some of the material that the MTS Archive links to. It may capture some additional web pages that are linked to from these secondary pages, but not others. I haven't figured out exactly what it does or doesn't capture. Because the MTS Archive site uses Google Docs (aka Google Drive) and Picasa Web Albums to hold documents, photos, and some videos many of these items appear to be on secondary web sites. Many of them are captured, but some are not.

The U-M Web Archives are available at https://archive-it.org/organizations/934.

Nancy,

Is the University of Michigan Web Archives site still working?  I see that the "Michigan Terminal System Archive" (Michigan Terminal System Wiki) has been captured three times. The last was on 1 November 2012. The MTS Archive sites doesn't change all that frequently, but there have been some changes and additions since November 2012.

Hi Jeff,

The Web Archives is working but, there is a six month embargo on each new crawl so the most recent November crawl won't show up for a little while.  Thanks for checking in, I'll get the broken URLs to the person who takes are of our finding aids.

Sincerely,
